Crucified Limoges type

Cobre dorado

Crucified Christ crucified made in gilded copper. It is represented with royal crown and purity cloth long almost to the knees, as is usual in the representations of Christ Crucified in Gothic art. It is associated with the Limoges school. Its support, now lost, may have been an enamel cross / Extracted from: A.A.V.V.: Gómez-Moreno Institute (catalog). Granada, 1992, p. 168.
