Grecopunic mask
Small ceramic (terracotta) mask or cover, of very fine pink paste, of which no provenance is known. It may be a theatrical mask, perhaps allegory of the Comedy, represented by a human head with striated hair, frown, wide nose and wide pierced mouth. It could also be a clay casting of a bronze or iron original, which could be part of a larger ensemble, a door or a piece of furniture / Extracted from: A.A.V.V.: Gómez-Moreno Institute (catalog). Granada, 1992, p. 201.
