San Antonio Abad
Cut bust, apparently belonging to a complete statue. Tight-fitting skullcap, curly white beard, black cape with hood and cowl. The black of the cap and robe painted on gold, visible in small polka dots and stripes, with stewing technique. Style and technique of modeling equal to the statues of the portals of the Cathedral of Seville, keeping in particular close analogies with that of San Mateo of the side cover of the western facade / Extracted from: A.A.V.V.: Gómez-Moreno Institute (catalog). Granada, 1992, p. 170.
