Teruel Jar
Glazed ceramic jug (green and blue on white background) with a pyriform body; it has four handles with alternating decorative button-shaped finials on the two highest and cone-shaped on the two lowest. The external zone of the handles is decorated in relief with buttons. The flared neck is decorated in vertical bands, which are left white when they coincide with the seat of the handles, and with a vegetal theme of meandering stems on the remaining ones. The vertical bands are continued on the shoulder and part of the body of the piece, maintaining the same alternation (white and vegetal theme). / Extracted from: A.A.V.V.: Instituto Gómez-Moreno (catalog).
