José María Rodríguez-Acosta
Óleo sobre lienzo

We should consider this landscape the paradigm of all those that the artist produced throughout his life. From the quiet tension of the format, almost a square, to that feature that is constantly appearing, of approaching the object, everything allows the painter to extract the most diverse chromatic possibilities (greens, pinks, violets, mauves, ochers) that such a violent foreground presents. It should be added that this composition has radically eliminated the vision of the sky, what is most identified with the air, configuring a totally breathable atmosphere, which denotes the years of learning and the knowledge and assimilation of the pictorial experiences of previous artists. / Extracted from: Revilla Uceda, M.
