PORTABLE BUDDHIST ALTAR
Japanese portable altar containing an image of Amida. The altar opens with two front doors made of wood and gilded. The image of Amida is depicted seated on an architecturally developed throne that ends in a lotus flower on which Amida sits. A large halo profusely decorated frames the whole figure of Amida.
